Beginning Our Journey

Friends and Family:

Thank you for taking the time to check out our web page! My wife, Mary, and I are so blessed to have each of you a part of our lives, and we cannot wait to share with you our journey that God has set us on. We know you have been and will be a blessing to us throughout this journey, but our prayer is that we will be able to be a blessing to you as well! We will use this blog as an avenue to connect with each of you by presenting prayer requests, blessings, needs, and just everyday stories of things that happen that you might like to hear! We want to be as interactive as possible with each of you, so do not ever hesitate to communicate with us through email, text, or social media.

We are just beginning our journey through deputation, and we severely covet your prayers! This is all completely foreign to us, so we need your prayers and encouragement as much as possible. We are excited to see God work in our lives while we are on this path, but we want to be as much of a blessing to the pastors and churches we encounter as they will be to us. Here are a few specific things that you can pray for us about so far:

1). I, Taylor, am currently trying to learn Spanish. This is a little harder than I had originally expected, so I really need prayer that I will be diligent with my time and disciplined enough to make it a priority.

2). My wife, Mary, is currently teaching Spanish this fall semester, so having to juggle that full-time and having to manage responsibilities concerning our deputation will be challenging.

3). Pray that our roles in marriage would remain in the correct priority. I know through times of business and loads of responsibility, it can be easy to neglect aspects of your responsibilities to your spouse.

4). Lastly, pray that our target date of gaining 100% support (January 2019) would be reached. However, ultimately pray that God would get us there in His perfect timing, and we would constantly have that in mind throughout this journey.

Philippians 2:6

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

In Christ-like love,

The Harmons
